Goose Egg Vs Chicken Egg

As a food lover I have tried many different types of eggs in my life but my favorite eggs are certainly goose eggs. The way the yolk of a goose egg tastes is something special that separates it from other types of eggs.

Why I prefer goose eggs over chicken eggs? Firstly the yolk in a goose egg is creamier and thicker than that of a chicken egg giving it a rich satisfying taste. When I boil goose eggs the yolk becomes even better. I love adding salt to the eggs and the yolk flavor explodes in my mouth. Also, goose eggs are much bigger than chicken eggs and I find that their size is impressive and makes me feel pretty amazing when I hold them in my hand.

I have found that goose eggs have some disadvantages. Goose egg whites are thicker than chicken egg whites which for some people can be quite off-putting. While I don't mind it that much I understand why some people may not like thicker texture. Another issue with goose eggs is they are seasonal. This means you need to plan ahead and make sure you have enough for the next season if you want to enjoy goose eggs. This may not seem big deal but it can be frustrating if you love to cook with goose eggs. However, the quality of the eggs more than makes up for the smaller quantity.
